Private Lessons: The mentoring program is a unique progression into the different aspects of this exciting performance art. The format is a weekly, thiry minute session, one-on-one, with me, an experience teacher and professional performer (I usually go over the thirty minutes to make sure each participate gets their money's worth). You will obviously learn magic tricks, but you can be can assured you that you will learn a whole lot more. You will study delivery techniques, character, patter, how to put together a show, and for our upper level students...how to get bookings. You can't learn this stuff from a book...or the internet. You will receive the knowledge that has come from years of professional performing. Combine that with the experience of years spent as a classroom teacher and you've got an amazing opportunity.

| Dr. Brown has been giving my teenage son private lessons. I have been very impressed that he is learning not only tricks, but how to present the tricks in a real show. The rates are also very reasonable for one-on-one teaching. And for all the parents tired of hearing the "I'm Bored" chant every weekend, I pay for one lesson and he is occupied the rest of the weekend. You will begin with close-up magic with everyday items and ultimately move to magic that will play for any size stage. After the very first session, you will be performing magic that will entertain and amaze.
Each session is 30 minutes (usually a little over if you are okay with that) of quality instruction. The cost is just $25 per session (local to the Triangle of NC).
