His Magic
Keith has been recognized by his peers as a unique entertainer with the ability to connect with an audience in ways that few can. In fact, many magicians here in the United States and in Canada have contacted him and requested his help in scripting their own shows. He has graciously shared his creativity with other magicians to help them become even better performers. He has done every aspect of magic, from illusions to mentalism. His magic has continued to grow and change over the years while performing for more and more audiences and in more and more venues. Today, Keith has found his niche to be that of the motivational speaker and comedy magician/ mind reader. His friendly, engaging style of magic makes him perfect for any group. He doesn't do large illusions or work with animals any longer. This makes him more flexible in travel and in venue. Keith is the kind of entertainer who could please hundreds with nothing more than his humor and a coin. But, rest assured, he uses more than that.
His Education
Dr. Keith Brown earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in business from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. His emphasis of study was mathematic and economics. After pursuing a career in finance and banking for several years, he decided to pursue a Master's Degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and completed the degree earlier than required. Later, Keith began his doctoral studies at Trinity Graduate School of Apologetics and Theology. He earned his doctorate in 2009. Also in 2009, Keith believing so deeply in education, decided to complete the Doctor of Magic Degree from the International Society of Magician's Academy. He finished the requirements and was awarded this degree by his magical brethren.
His Business Background
Keith managed in the finance and banking industry for almost a decade. In addition, he actually founded and ran a successful mortgage corporation for several years. Even though Dr. Brown was succesful in the financial business industry, he could not escape his love for performing and teaching. Thus, he started Keith Brown Magic, a company specializing in entertainment and speaking.
His Teaching Background
Dr. Brown spent amost 10 years teaching high school. In addition, several of those years were spent as the principal for 7th-12grades. During that time he had to adapt and create many lessons that would impact his students in a powerful way. His abilites were recognized by his selection to "Who's Who Among American Teachers" twice. The students of his school also voted to recognize Dr. Brown with a special award for his dedication and care for the student body, their families, and his teaching staff. Even today, after all these years, many of his former students stay in contact with him and enjoy a positive relationship.
His Speaking
Keith began speaking in churches, schools, and for corporations even before graduating college. He has taught small groups and spoken to thousands. Each audience and need has been different and Dr. Brown has risen to each occassion for over 20 years. He has developed several curriculums for businesses and schools. His ability to creatively share information with people has made him one of the most effective speakers on the road today.
His Writing
Keith has been writing for most of his life and continues to do so as much as his schedule will allow. He has four published works of fiction and is currently writing on his fifth.
